Malyovitsa is located in Rila mountain just 1,5 h drive from Sofia. It is one of the most spectacular and alpine areas of Rila with concentration of rock giants and vertical walls overpassing 400 m and has turned into a symbol of the Bulgarian mountaineering. It hosts some of the legendary alpine, hiking and ski touring routes and is equally popular in summer and winter.
This program offers you a classical ascent of mount Malyovitsa.
Day 1:
We meet in Sofia and after 1,5h transfer arrive at Malyovitsa area. Hike to mount Malyovitsa and back to the car. Transfer to Sofia.
